How long must have I have held my licence?

This largely depends on which Customer you go to, we have found opportunities and full time work for recently passed Drivers.  In some instances simply because of Insurance purposes it can be up to 2 years however, this isn’t in all cases and we pride ourselves in taking each applicant on their current skills and matching them accordingly to our customer’s needs.

What are the maximum points that you are prepared to accept?

In line with our own insurance for specific customers generally it would be 6, however not a pre-requisite for all of our accounts and largely depends on what the points were for, our consultants will be able to advise accordingly.

Do you provide regular work and what type of shifts are available?

We  provide regular and consistent work, we try to establish what your preference is in terms of shifts and times, however, if you are flexible and receptive to your share of weekend commitments and start times, then we can accommodate subject to our clients requirements. 

Do you provide have part-time or weekend work?

We have part-time and full time work, we can generally cater for most of our potential drivers needs.

Do you provide a uniform?

We provide a hi-viz vest and our company logoed shirts, we expect our Drivers to attend duty in smart attire at all times. 

Do you hold any CPC courses?

We work in unison with a our training partners and co-ordinate all courses for our Drivers our own staff attend those courses so that they are equally up together with legislation. We offer competitive rates on easy payment terms.

How do I go about registering and what information do I need to bring with me?

You will need to bring when registering both parts of your licence, your digi card and ideally your passport and any other skills certificates that supports your application.

Are there any opportunities of full time work with your Customers?

Yes, lots of Drivers have been afforded permanent work with our Customers which we encourage.

How will I get paid?

Weekly paid, direct into your bank account.

Do your customers expect me to do an assessment and Induction?

It is a pre-requisite for the majority of our Customers to expect a Driver to have an assessment and induction to their policies, procedures and more importantly for Health & Safety.  Also its advantageous to get free access to additional training and development.

What type of work do you have?

Our work varies from Supermarket & general haulage work to some multi-drop work.  We do have nights out available, if preferred.

Do you monitor my Working Time and how?

You will be provide with timesheets each week in order to furnish us with your hours, POA etc this is logged and we monitor your hours however, as a professional driver we would expect you to also be doing this as well. You can post or email your time-sheets.

How long does it take to register and what tests to I have to take?

We would expect you to allocate at least an hour to register, we have tests on drivers hours, Highway Code and working time directive knowledge.  Any keys areas of concern, we will retrain help you.

Will I need a Digi Card?

Yes, before you register, please ensure that you have a digi card.

Do you operate and adhere to legislation?

We are members of the REC and are studious and compliant with all regulations pertaining to employment law and transport legislation including health and safety.

Are you honest with your workforce, I have had a bad experience with agency?
